Welcome To my website! My name is Jackson Keating, I was born and raised in Machesney Park Illinois which is a little outside of Rockford. I am currently a Junior Illustrator/ Animator at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, and I am looking to further my skills and experience in the wonderful world of art. My ultimate goal as an artist is to put out work that inspires a new generation of artists, the same way I found myself in art as a kid through my favorite artists. I typically make a lot of art more fit for adult audiences with monsters, 80s rockstars, action and horror being some of my favorite things to Illustrate. Though I specialize in these subjects I also love to draw still lifes, nature, cartoons and children's illustration. Some of my biggest inspirations are Todd Mcfarlane, Matt Frank and Frank Frazetta. My inspiration for my art goes far beyond just artists though I also take inspiration from the music I listen to and the media I consume daily. Personally love to work traditionally with ink and alcohol markers, but I am also proficient in digital art and have also made a few 3D and 2D animations. On my free time I like to be outside when I can either fishing or longboarding. I have a large collection of retro media and I also care for my 5 year old bearded dragon Slash, named after one of my biggest inspirations.
